Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer ("Client") and Blue & Yellow Cleaning LLC ("Company"). By booking a service, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.

A. Scope of Service

  • The Company provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services.
  • The specific services provided will be outlined in the booking confirmation or invoice.
  • The Company reserves the right to adjust the services as needed based on the property's condition or safety concerns.

B. Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, Zelle, or card (if enabled).
  • Rates: Pricing is based on service type, size of premises, and scope of work. All rates are provided in advance via quote or published packages.
  • Payment Due: Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late Fees: A $10 late fee may apply for payments not received within 5 days of service.
  • Returned Checks: A $35 fee will be applied to any returned check.

C. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Notice Required: Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late Cancellation Fee: A $25 fee applies if cancellation is made with less than 24 hours' notice.
  • No-Show: If the cleaner cannot access the property or the appointment is missed, a full service fee may be charged.

D. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to provide safe access to the premises, including entry instructions.
  • The Client must secure pets and inform the Company of any hazards.
  • The Client is responsible for providing truthful and complete information during booking.

E. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • The Company offers a 100% satisfaction commitment.
  • If the Client is not satisfied, they must notify the Company within 24 hours of service completion.
  • Verified concerns will be addressed promptly and may result in a service credit or discount on the next cleaning.

F. Liability

  • The Client agrees not to hold the Company liable for:
    • Acts of God (e.g. weather, natural disasters)
    • Accidents outside the control of the cleaning staff
    • Damage due to bleach or restricted chemicals (we do not use bleach)

G. Employment of Cleaners

  • All cleaners are independent contractors vetted by the Company.
  • The Client agrees not to solicit, hire, or directly employ any Blue & Yellow Cleaning cleaner outside this Agreement for a period of 12 months following their last service without written consent.
  • Violation of this clause will incur a recruitment fee of $1,000.

H. Termination

  • Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with at least 5 days' notice.
  • Prepaid services are non-refundable but may be credited toward future services at the Company's discretion.

I. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
  • The parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating legal proceedings.

J. Privacy Policy

  • Client data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information except as required to provide our services.
