Standard Cleaning Service

Our Standard Cleaning Service is designed for homes that are regularly maintained by professional cleaners. This service covers general cleaning tasks, including:

  • Dusting and wiping down all surfaces
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas
  • Making or remaking beds in every room
  • Cleaning the stovetop, the exterior of the fridge, and appliances such as the microwave (inside and out), oven toaster, and dishwasher (exterior only)
  • Wiping down the exterior of cabinets
Deep Cleaning Service

Deep Cleaning includes everything covered in a Standard Cleaning but with extra time and attention to detail. It is ideal for homes that have not been professionally cleaned in a while—whether a few weeks or several months—and require additional care due to visible dust, cobwebs, or pet hair. This service includes:

  • Dusting and collecting dust from baseboards and window blinds
  • Removing visible cobwebs from reachable ceiling corners and ceiling fans
  • Addressing built-up dust and pet hair throughout the home

Homes with multiple pets or areas needing extra attention may benefit from a Deep Cleaning. A deep cleaning allows extra time to focus on areas that have not been regularly maintained, such as wiping baseboards, door frames, handles, light switches, and outlets, as well as giving extra attention to showers and tubs. Since this service requires more effort than a Standard Cleaning, additional time is allocated to ensure a thorough job.

Our team arrives fully equipped with high-quality cleaning supplies and materials. However, if you have specific product preferences or would like us to use your own, we are happy to accommodate your request. If you prefer us to use your vacuum cleaner or other equipment, we are happy to do so. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise with your equipment.

What should I do to prepare for the cleaning?

To help us clean efficiently, please tidy up personal items and ensure access to all areas to be cleaned. If you have pets, please secure them during the service.

How long does the cleaning take?

The duration depends on the size of your home, the number of rooms, the amount of belongings, and the level of cleaning required. Ultimately, you decide how many hours to book and which areas to prioritize.

How far in advance should I book my cleaning appointment?

Blue and Yellow Cleaning accepts appointments from today up to one month in advance. To check availability for your preferred date and time, please contact our Customer Service Representatives. Morning appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend booking a few days ahead to secure your desired time slot.

Can I have an evening or weekend clean?

Yes! Our cleaners are fully flexible and available for evening or weekend cleanings. Please note that an additional hourly charge may apply for services after 6 PM or on weekends.

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee? What if I am not happy with the cleaning? Can I get a refund?

Blue and Yellow Cleaning DOES NOT issue refunds. However, we are committed to ensuring our clients are satisfied with our services. If a specific area does not meet your expectations, we will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly. If you are dissatisfied, we will conduct a thorough review, including requesting photographic evidence of missed areas and communicating with our cleaning team. If the claim is valid, we will return to re-clean the specified areas. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

Valid Claims

A claim is valid if an extra service was paid for but not completed.

  • The fridge & freezer were selected as an extra service but were not cleaned.
  • Inside cabinets were included as an additional service but were left uncleaned.
  • The interior of the oven was requested and paid for but was not cleaned.

Our cleaning teams verify with clients (if present) that all tasks have been completed before leaving. We encourage customers to inspect their homes to confirm satisfaction.

Invalid Claims

An invalid claim pertains to minor or negligible details that may have been overlooked. While we strive for thoroughness, it may not always be possible to catch every small detail, especially in tight or hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, external factors like foot traffic or open windows can reintroduce dust into freshly cleaned areas. These instances are not considered valid claims, though we will ensure extra attention is given during future appointments. Regular cleanings improve overall cleanliness over time. Your trust in our services is appreciated, and we look forward to maintaining your home’s cleanliness.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to reschedule, skip, or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid fees.

Cancellation Policy
  • If your scheduled cleaning service is priced at $200 or less, a 20% cancellation fee applies.
  • If your service costs $201 or more, a 30% cancellation charge applies.
Rescheduling Policy
  • Within 24 Hours Before Appointment: 10% rescheduling fee
  • 5-6 Hours Before Appointment: 15% rescheduling fee
  • 3-4 Hours Before Appointment: 20% rescheduling fee
  • 1-2 Hours Before Appointment: 30% rescheduling fee
How can I pay for the service? What payment methods do you accept?

My place smells a bit funky. Can you remove odors?

Our cleaning team does not provide specialized odor removal services. While our deep cleaning can help minimize odors by addressing their source, we do not guarantee full odor elimination. We recommend keeping windows open for 12-24 hours after cleaning for ventilation and using odor-absorbing products. For persistent odors, a professional odor removal service is advised.

Why don’t you remove paint as part of your cleaning services?

Paint removal requires specialized chemicals and techniques that fall outside our scope of services. It is best handled by professional painters or specialists to avoid surface damage.
